Okay, but are you actually scared to succeed?

Okay, hear me out…are we scared to fail or is it the idea of actually succeeding that subconsciously keeps us stagnant??

I know what you’re thinking LOL, “of course I want to be success why would I be scared of that?” Well think about it. Is what you want to do a “normal” job? Is your hobby/passion common? Do you want to move states or out of the country? Have you thought about why  you haven’t yet? Of course there are a lot of factors but at the end of the day it’s probably against the status quo.

You may be trailblazing a new path and that shit is HARD

It’s easy to say, well Joe Smo has done it so I can too if there is someone to compare to your current situation and goal. But if you don’t know someone close or even aquatinted, you’ll feel alone, alienated, misunderstood. And that’s where the road usually stops. But also, have you considered, making it “big” or taking the leap may mean you leave behind your old life, places, or people that don’t fit into your new world. And that’s scary.

A perfect example is I knew someone from high school probably one of the smartest people I’ve ever met. Could’ve done anything they wanted but they intentionally hindered their success to take care of their family and stay local instead of going off to a big school to pursue their dreams. Clearly, not my life so I’m not judging just stating the simple facts. Which are, sometimes we don’t live up to our TRUE potential because maybe we do have the belief in us that we want to succeed but we’re scared to leave our old lives behind.

It is so much easier to stay rightttt where are right now because it is known, common, comfortable, and not causing any conflict in your life. Well, yet of course.

But what would happen if we actually went after our dreams, moved away, or just into a different chapter of our lives? Scary but we’ll never know if we never GO FOR IT!
